Erik Albidress has been working as a Special Effects Makeup Artist for the Film and Television Industry since early 2012.Originally based out of his hometown of Marysville, WA., he was still fairly new to the Seattle Film scene, when he had first decided to teach himself about the Art of Makeup Effects, after being inspired by the works of horror icons such as Rob Bottin, Greg Cannom, and the late great,Dick Smith.

 

While Incorporating his background in Specialty Fabrication and Construction, he has had the pleasure of supervising the FX Makeup Departments on over 10 feature films and 20+ Short Films, with a number of upcoming projects in the works for 2018.Now based out of his new studio space in Los Angeles, California, he hopes to continue following his passion and further develop his skills as an Artist.
